Emskilled First Aid Training and Emergency Management regards customer privacy as an important part of our relationship with our customers. The following privacy policy applies to all Emskilled First Aid Training and Emergency Management users, and conforms to Internet privacy standards. Collection of Information
In order to use the Emskilled First Aid Training and Emergency Management website, we may require information from you in order to provide the best service possible. All correspondence may also be collected and stored, particularly in regard to sales, support and accounts, including Email. Any information collected by Emskilled First Aid Training and Emergency Management is collected via correspondence from you or your company. This may be via the telephone, Email, mail, fax or directly through our website. Use of Collection Information Any details collected from Emskilled First Aid Training and Emergency Management customers is required in order to provide you with our products and/or services, and a high level of customer service. Correspondence is recorded in order to provide service references, and to assist in our staff development.

When Credit Card details are collected, we simply pass them on in order to be processed as required. We never permanently store complete Credit Card details. If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, delete or deactivate it by emailing us at admin@emskilled.com.au.

If you purchase a product or service from us, we may request certain personally identifiable information from you. You may be required to provide contact information (such as name, Email, and postal address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date). We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.
Communications
Emskilled First Aid Training and Emergency Management uses personally identifiable information for essential communications, such as Emails, accounts information, and critical service details. We may also use this information for other purposes, including some promotional Emails. If at any time a customer wishes not to receive such correspondence, they can request to be removed from any mailing lists by emailing us at admin@emskilled.com.au. You will be notified when your personal information is collected by any third party that is not our agent/service provider, so you can make an informed choice as to whether or not to share your information with that party.
Third Parties
Emskilled First Aid Training and Emergency Management may at its discretion use other third parties to provide essential services on our site or for our business processes. We may share your details as necessary for the third party to provide that service. These third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any other purpose. Emskilled First Aid Training and Emergency Management does not share any information with third parties for any unknown or unrelated uses.

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Website.

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it frequently. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here, by Email, or by means of a notice on our homepage.
Refund & Returns Policy of Physical Products
If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase of physical products we will give you a 7 day money-back guarantee from the time you receive the goods. Please email us at admin@emskilled.com.au within that time if you are not satisfied with your purchase so that we can resolve any problems. This refund policy does not apply to goods which have been worn or used, damaged after delivery, or if any attempt has been made to alter the product or if they have been dropped or broken. All products must be returned in their original condition. All postage and insurance costs are to be paid by the buyer. We recommend that you return the product via Registered post and that you pre-pay all postage. You assume any risk of lost, theft or damaged goods during transit and therefore advise you take out shipment registration of insurance with your postal carrier. Emskilled First Aid Training and Emergency Management will not be responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit if you choose not to insure.
Training Refund Policies
Public Courses Refund Policy:
We operate a fair and equitable fees and refunds policy for students who undertake training with us.
Enrolment in our Nationally Recognized Training courses is acceptance to our fees and refund policy which is detailed below. Please take the time to review this policy prior to enrolling in your course.
Due to the inherent nature of our short courses, refunds will be issued when:
- Student provides notice (email is acceptable) of withdrawal more than 7 working days prior to commencement of the course. A $15.00 administration fee will be charged for all cancellations regardless of time given.
- A student is unable to attend due to extended hospitalization/illness, and/or pregnancy/childbirth
Refunds will not be issued when:
- Withdrawal from course is less than 7 days prior to course commencement
- Changes occur in student’s work hours
- Changes occur in student’s personal life
- Student changes their mind and they have commenced the course
- It becomes inconvenient for a student to travel to class
- A student moves interstate
- A student changes jobs or become retrenched
- A student leaves before finishing course/unit of competency
- A student is expelled from the training center for a serious breach of discipline
- Client provides written notice (email is acceptable) of cancellation more than 14 days prior to commencement of course – full refund
- Cancellation is less than 14 days but no less than 48 hours prior to course commencement – a refund of 50% of the deposit will be given
- Cancellation is within 48 hours of the training course – No refund will be considered.
- A client will have one opportunity to reschedule their training with no fees or further charges incurred if they provide 7 days’ notice in writing (email is acceptable)
- If notice is given less than the required 7 days but no less than 48 hours prior to commencement a $150.00 reschedule fee will be charged
- If notice is given with less than 48 hours’ notice a $200.00 reschedule fee will be charged.
- A student is expelled from training for a serious breach of discipline or not complying with trainer requests
- The training area is not suitable for the course being delivered (at the discretion of the trainer)
- Students do not show up for training or attend after the scheduled start time.
No refunds will be payable after the commencement of a course.
Course transfer is allowable if advised 24 hours prior to start of the course. Transfer is not available to students who fail to show for the class or who do not give the required notice. A $15.00 reschedule fee is applicable to students who wish to transfer to another course if they “fail to show” or do not provide the required 24 hour notice.
Students who arrive after the scheduled course start time may be denied access to training and be required to pay an additional $25.00 per booking to re book an alternative date.
The training center will make payment of all refunds within 4 weeks of receipt of a written application for refund. Refunds will be made to the person who entered into the contract with the training center and are not transferable. Refunds will be made by either direct bank transfer or reversal of the credit card used to make the original payment.
Refunds paid if training provider defaults:
If we cannot provide a course for whatever reason a full refund will be made.
Private / Corporate Enrolment & Refund Policy:
The purpose of this policy is to outline the training center’s policy and standards for corporate client enrolments, refunds and rescheduling of courses. This policy applies to all corporate clients of Emskilled First Aid Training and Emergency Management.
Before clients enter into an agreement, Emskilled First Aid Training and Emergency Management must inform them about their enrolment, refund and rescheduling policy and about their rights and obligations.
Booking enquiries for corporate clients can be made on-line via our “Workplace Training tab” or “Fire Safety tab”, or by using our “Contact Us Form”. A member of the team will contact you via phone or email within 2 working days to confirm your training needs and book your course.
Fees for onsite training can be accessed by calling or emailing the training center. These are not detailed online as they may vary depending on location of training, numbers of participants, units delivered and industry specific requirements.
All corporate clients are required to pay all fees in full no later than 14 days prior to training (or at the time of booking if within 14 days). If there are additional students who attend the training, the account balance is due within seven days’ post training. No certificates will be issued until the account balance is paid in full. Onsite training for corporate clients will only be provided if there is a suitable area for the training delivery. Emskilled First Aid Training and Emergency Management reserves the right to cancel classes should the area not be suitable for training. No refund of deposit will be considered. Any parking fees incurred will be charged to the client post course.

Requests for refunds must be made in writing stating all details of the claim for refund. The request is to be directed to: admin@emskilled.com.au.
The training center will make payment of all refunds within 14 days of receipt of a written application for refund. Refunds will be made to the client who entered into the contract with the training center and are not transferrable. All refunds are paid by direct deposit.
Refunds paid if Emskilled First Aid Training and Emergency Management defaults:
If the training center cannot provide a course for whatever reason, full refund will be made.
This agreement does not remove the right to take further action under Australia’s consumer protection laws. The client is able to also pursue other legal remedies that are appropriate.
